The timeless tree

The timeless tree

A Poem by KeeD

I wish I had a mango tree
in my backyard
the leaves they'd whisper
about a timeless fruit

I'd stand besides that mango tree
with its fruit falling around me
laughter in the breeze
as time passed by slowly

Someone to share this moment with
watering my eyes with her emotion
scratch our names into its bark
reliving a dream that's not yet come to pass

Wish I had a mango tree
in my back yard
Weaving across the ocean
Girl would you be my shooting star

This one's about a girl named Jessica Lynn Polley and her poem Time Maker.. I don't know her but I felt this poem when I read her poetry. Random poems about random people connecting humanity.
