No fort holds resistance

Against the rays of autumn

Shining out in the open

Vibrant art of a Goddess

Breaking mortal hearts

Enhancing visual prowess

Scarlet locks upon thy shoulders

Elegant black dress

The mountain of fog

May have consumed my world

Now the air at the summit is pure

Your smile resides forevermore

Time stands still

Totems whisper words

So beautiful they manifest into a picture

Of the poet Poppy Ruth Silver
