The Lighthouse's Tale

The Lighthouse's Tale

A Poem by Keeley

Damage I cannot undo

Scratch my back while I sleep

My mind is traveling in a hundred directions

thousand miles a second.

I guess these are my lessons learned.

Or maybe it's just a dream,

after all,

it can't be happening to me.

I guess we'll never know.

Laughter fills the air

a sound I have not heard in awhile

Maybe it's reality

And I, as a whole, refuse to accept that...

THAT is the lighthouse's tale
