Love is an experience

I saw the moon tonight

and thought of you

I saw the flower that blooms

and thought of you

I saw the rain fall down the sky

and thought of you

I saw the rainbow after the rain

and thought of you

I saw the waves come crashing down 

and thought of you

I felt the sands in my bare feet

and thought of you

I felt the breeze rushing through my face

and thought of you

I tasted the best coffee and coldest beers in town

and thought of you

I tasted the best berries and cronuts and all the dairies and chips

and thought of you

I heard the angels' singing and bells a ringing

and thought of you

I heard the baby's laughter

and thought of you

I heard the bird's chirping and rivers flowing

and thought of you

I smelled the roses and lilies and carnations and tulips in the cinder block garden

and thought of you

I experienced all of the beautiful things with all of my senses in the world

and thought of you

made me remember my sensory inventory when I'm doing acting classes as a student now teach acting every summer to local workshops, that feeling. when your senses becomes so wide awake though this time with heart. being so sensitive for some. good write :D
