Spider

Spider

A Poem by Kelly Danielle Hall

You
Came in
Like a spider
Quietly and still
You crept into my
Heart and now you're
Stuck here to protect me
But why when all you really
Are to me is a sweet nightmare
Making my heart race faster and
Faster with your touch and your bite
But a bite so subtle with venom so sweet
And an attraction to such a rare creature like
Me which could kill you which could ruin all you
Are why have you trapped me here in your web with
Your amazing thoughts and plans and nothing in your
Way how do you love me, Spider, when you scare me this way?
