Destiny

Destiny

A Poem by RainbowEmerald

As a kid I would sit in my room with a blade
But that blade blew into my handmade shade
When my soul blew up like a grenade

I was born for the pen and paper
Tearing words from my brain like im ripping wallpaper
Poems piling up like a skyscraper

You'll say I need a job at a cubicle desk
But I think that's grotesque
And of that I could make a burlesque

My job is on this stage
And no matter how much I age
I'll always relate to Brage

This is my destiny
And I'll follow it breathlessly
Endlessly

This world would be ugly without literacy
It provides intimacy
Without idiocy

And this is why my destiny
Is meant to be
