Peter Pan

Peter Pan

A Poem by KennedyGrace
"

Never land

"
Let's runaway to neverland. Where all our dreams come true.
You Peter and I tink too. We could go to mermaid lagoon, and
Stay there and bask in the afternoon. When the sun isn't burning
Too bright, the Indian camps a myth, one I'm dying to prove true.
But Peter please stay with, and not run off like you do. Maybe
Hang mans tree will bring you back to me. Because you belong
Here with me. And I in you, have trust. Canibal cove seems so
Horrible, maybe it's where our nightmares lay. Because everything's
So lurid, in this neverland gone astray. You're my Peter Pan who had
Adventures on skull rock. Until you took her hand and left me with
The sound of a ticking clock...

I like this version of the Peter Pan story. More interesting and made me want to know more. You create dangerous places and a opening for more tale. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
