The solitude of travel

The solitude of travel

A Poem by Kenneth Nicholas Lowe

In the solitude of travel
Begins the waking of the mind
Thrust to gaze into the future
Involuntary ideals we find

In the solitude of travel
The cynic is born
No anchor to the earth
The Challenger of belief and norm

In the solitude of travel
Silence finds its embrace
The sight calmed by an unseasoned brew
Conversation has lost its taste

In the solitude of travel
The familiar has a different light
Interests mutate in the shadows
The mind and heart are eased whence come the night

In the solitude of travel
Strangers breed caution
Acquaintances are treated with meh
Life's purpose brought to question

No answers will be heard
No explanation will be reasoned
No justice will be served
Within the mind of those lonely travelling

sometimes i enjoy travelling alone and for a while i am missing doing that...you really have brought all the thoughts of that lonely mind...silence become our best friend in the journey n we create different pictures of our thoughts while sitting alone..talking to sumone is not of our options..we simply ignore those talks...enjoyed this journey of words..thanks for sharing..:)
