LC

A Poem by Kerry Cochran
"

My cousin passed away and his funeral was Saturday I wrote this from him

"

LC my cousin and friend,
He could make you laugh, with a simple grin.
You would give a shoulder to cry on.
Your heart he could mend.
He had much love in his heart,
A good man forever and also family;
A bad man he could never be.
I’ll remember the good time always in our memory.

LC this is your final hour, you’re finally going home.
So this particular day we will not moan.
You character is beyond recognition.
You were always on some kind of mission.
We all loved the way that you smiled;
Laughing and joking like there is no tomorrow.
Your infectious humor, so humble and true,
When we think of you, we should never feel blue.
Your unique celebration for life we shall never forget,
Meeting you there will be no regrets.

LC you will always be cherished.
Always proud even in the earliest hour.
Your dance moves, and house shoes.
The way your eyes shine and a man so fine.
But I know how you would give me your last dime.

LC you’re a man with real dignity, and a handful of charm too.
There weren’t many occasions I ever saw you blue.
So this is not the end, but a new beginning for you.
No pain, no more suffering you have to bear.
I love you and miss you and the rest of the family does too.
