pyramidal oasis

pyramidal oasis

A Poem by Kett

tempted past,

a push for the relinquish

and idolization, lustful guise that has no patience.

books, rippled with pages written and worn by pen

drawn dull...

yet, here you are

pursuant and relentless, demanding and expectant.

tousled hair, lips wide and soft to kiss upon my own....

pyramid dweller, you have your own crypt you've risen from..

piles high of cylinders confiscated,

hearts and brains, the motor of the matter..

gold inlay, silvers glimmers,…twinkling in Nile’s blistering sun,

desert's consummation and gasps of discovery,

even the scarabs have retracted to hiero’s place to hide from you….

how sweet you have rested these days,

how now your phoenix has enflamed her wings to rise

and peck at my very core for rememberance…

what linen memories wrap skins mesmerizing interlude

and how visions as their oasis’ find me in your bed

The image that I felt while reading this poem-

A swarm of priests attempting to drain and wrap the undead
and unfinished.

It is good that you resist the dehydrating influence.
The heart must be lighter than the feather as it is weighted before TeKh.
