Everyone suffers from plights and setbacks, so we all struggle,
Close to knock under, to the pressure and drawbacks that strangle.
I have given my absolute best in fighting, surmounting obstacle,
Self-driven because my failure- is my haters’ thrilling spectacle.

Allow me to walk you through my greatest adversity,
Why are people so engrossed about my sexuality?
F*ck toxic masculinity, stop asking “When will you have kids or marry?”,
Why are you curious to know regarding my current salary?

I posted pictures of my outfits, did your life fall apart?,
Do you feel threatened if my earnings are off the chart?
I went through all kinds of hell, just to get to where I am today,
Did it make you miserable? Am I an eyesore in any way?

And so what If I get plastered and have a pot belly,
I gained weight and pimple marks, are you happy of my acne?
Every inch of me is flawed, that’s what I want you to see,
My height isn’t the issue, but the insecurity in your body.

Please don’t be jealous, don’t be scared of others’ success,
We don’t climb similar ladder, we make our own progress.
Don’t live like you’re a human surveillance camera,
We will face the same fate, just dealing different karma.
