Blue

This is my first poem on this site. Hope you enjoy it! :)

Glistening fragments of sundered dreams float

In the endless void between what is and what was

Flowing ever forward into eternity caught in swirling eddies

Small insignificant puddles of thought fleeting like the coming tide

Movement and chaos causing waves throughout the abyss

Crashing against and eroding away the very fabric of humanity

All that springs forth from the fountain of life will soon return

To the source where there can finally be peace below

Silence and harmony as the sea and sky become still

It's reflection a deepest blue…
