Invisible

 

Lost,

Trapped,

I have nothing.

 My life, torn from me like a favorite toy ripped from the grasping hands of a small child.

 

A broken heart,

A lost soul,

Shattered dreams,

Stolen hopes.

Alone,

Unwanted,

Confused.

Nowhere to go,

No one to see.

 

It’s like I’m invisible to the world.

As if someone put me on mute,

And no one can hear me crying out.

 

On the outside I may look fine,

But on the inside I’m slowly fading away.

Before long,

There will be nothing left.

I will have reached my limit.

I will be at the edge, about to fall,

And there will be no one left to catch me
