Ghost of My Time

Lost in the music of loneliness
Chained by the emptiness of my heart.
Then you came and erased my sadness
And made me complete though you're miles apart.

Your eyes let me see who you are
And my soul lets you see who I am.
Our memories enclosed in a jar
And our smiles forever in my palm.

I was like a broken glass
Filled with shards and cracks.
But you let all the pain pass
And guided me to my new tracks.

So different but so the same
And our minds connect and rhyme.
Everything was dark before you came
And rusty as old as time.

I couldn't figure out why
Why you came and helped me.
At first I was already going to die
But life, you let me see.

You erased almost everything dark in me
