day dreaming of love

day dreaming of love

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

My hear it entangled in a web and at war with my head.
Here I lay wishing I was with you instead.
I crave your words and your touch.
It all seems too much.
Do I play in the shadowy corners of your mind,
or when you leave me do you also leave those thoughts behind?
I want to give you the world.
Sow you together where you are torn.
I want you to call me out when I'm out of line,
because even in this you are kind.
I want us together to forge ahead.
Taking on the world and all its dread.
I don't want you to bear all the weight,
instead take turns on who can meditate while the other keeps danger at bay.
Let me be your shield maiden and you my mate.
