Dying Flame

Dying Flame

A Poem by Kiba Shadowpaw
"

A flame without love will never last, and soon become a thing of the past~

"
The flame in his heart flickers,
On the brink of death.
He sighs deep,
With a heavy, cold breath.

His heart nearly faded,
His love nearly lost.
Is his emptiness,
Really with the cost.

All he really wants,
Is to feel again.
To feel a new love,
For his heart to awaken.

His body numb,
Just like his heart.
Unable to feel anything,
When they're together or apart.

The shadows grow,
Covering his heart's wall.
Waiting for the day,
Someone makes them fall.
