Velvet to Vomit

I was once desired
Much enjoyed
As I bounced and see-sawed in his careful hands
I knew what it felt like to be savoured
I was his fluid confidence
False as it was
Like everything else


I was guilty
For throwing an opaque veil over reason
But which each clumsy stumble
I was near thrown over the edge

Now in loose, careless hands
It was I, who caressed his lips
But what I had was never enough
He took more and more and uhhh �"


Here I lay
Unwanted
A result of a forgotten night
That never happened
Something he couldn’t handle
He spat me out of his life
And left
