Never Grow Up

This is actually a song but they don"t have a song button so i put it as a poem ;)

Never Grow Up:

Its 12 am and I'm still wide awake, hyped up by that coke we weren't supposed to drink.

Its been a long day of water gun fights and dancing in the moonlight, and we've had a hard year

but we know it will end all right and staying young is a great idea to me. Now you look at me as 

the screen credits start to roll and sigh when we had our fight and gave you the cold.. shoulder.

But hey you say thats what being young is, then suddenly serious you look at me say what do you see, do you really wanna grow up?

So I'll look at you and tell you the truth, never thought I would do this but I said:

Oh why don't we just never grow up, we don't need to grow up we'd stay this young forever

oh why don't we just never grow up and stay forever young.

I'm 24. Funny how time flies and now I'm under the altar in a white gown, you give me a thumbs up from the front row and then a frown and I burst out laughing while saying I do, and you mouth Stay Forever Young. Its been a long night of grilled steak and fries and I'm startled to find you start to cry, for the 1st time. I don't understand why we have to die or grow up  but I do know something-- we CAN stay forever young. SO I step up to the speech podium and take a deep breath and star to say:

Remember when I said 

So I'll look at you and tell you the truth, never thought I would do this but:

Oh why don't we just never grow up, we don't need to grow up we'd stay this young forever 

oh why don't we just never grow up and stay forever young.

So I'll be 64 and you'll be 63, but that's okay 'cuz we'll be young at heart and no anti aging cream and nose jobs can make you young at heart but hey we're young at heart!

SO don't go to the store and bring back that cream we have all we need and we're still young at heart. And I'll say:

Oh why don't we just never grow up  we don't need to grow up we'd stay this young forever

oh why don't we just never grow up and stay forever young
