Land of the homeless ones

Land of the homeless ones

A Poem by M.Kilani

Land of the homeless ones

Another sigh, to the ground points the eye

As I light another cigarette and dream of forgotten lands

Land of honor and swords

A land where treason shows

And those of might treason they fight

Alas, alas I say

As they all now are gone, yet left their swords behind

Next to the magic book, covered of rust and dust

All are gone; their swords were killed by gun

And so the sword of mine

O wise wizard you’re lucky you’re dead

Yes lucky for you eyes don’t see

They replaced you words of spells, they killed your poetry

And all your books are only scripts, all magic now is dead

Along with honor

Along with loyalty

Along with trust

All are dead even respect

And all what was before your time

Titans, gods, dragons, and phoenix

All are fairytales all became lies

All buried under the name of Magica

Land of the free, nay, land of the homeless

Yes land of the homeless I say

As homeless are the freemen, and homeless is the heart

And homeless art thou who tell thy tales

Tales of death and life

Shadows, flames, and ice

Blood, right, and might

All you can find in Magica

Land of the homeless ones

Even homeless of our time
