Butterfly Effect

Butterfly Effect

A Poem by Emon King
"

The age old theory developed into a love story

"

In front of me stands a figure , all a man could ever want . That figure encompasses a beautiful creature , through and through ,
She, an intangible persona , somehow forged into something I could touch , something I could love
But , what led us here. How did the stars align at this moment ,in this time ,on this day
What butterfly , what crystal wings ,  what undaunted creature do I owe this fortune to
I know that I shouldn't,   by any stretch of the imagination , be afforded the chance to have a chance to experience her love
It has to be fate , our likeness must have been thrown into the same Pandora's box , but you pulled it out and made sure it stayed together
Neither here nor there , so many things could have prevented this love from ever sparking a flame
So , my mysterious butterfly , I thank the earth for providing food to ensure your survival, one  that eventually set in motion a chain of events  that made sure my heart could live happy
Please continue to flap at an angle that will provide the perfect conditions for  her romance to exist
your heartbeat , little in nature , has provided for mine
For this ,  I owe the simpler flutter of your wings , a life's  long worth of appreciation
 Oh what a theory
