F*****g Raise Hell

F*****g Raise Hell

A Poem by Alex Vidmar

Rise above those who shout.
Raise Hell.
Rise Above all who hate.
Lower Heaven.

If you can't lower Heaven
Then F*****g Raise Hell.
Just f*****g raise it.
Raise it all the way to the f*****g clouds!

Destroy all of those who oppose you.
Crush all of those who complain.
Rape all the women, kill all the men.
Make all the children your slaves.

You can't lower Heaven
So f*****g Raise Hell.
F*****g raise it up.
Mother F****r.

Heaven... It's f*****g messed up.
You need to be perfect to get in.
Hell; That's the place for us all.
All you need to do is sin.

Heaven can't be lowered.
But you can f*****g Raise Hell.
Raise f*****g hell.
Raise it up....

Raise it up.

I like the energy of this poem. I could tell you story of when I allow the desire to raise hell over kindness to be strong. I missed the police station by seconds many time. Good to raise hell when life is not right. Maybe if the people raise some hell and get pissed off. Leaders would pay attention to their people. Thank you for the outstanding poem.

sucks when you raise hell to do the right thing and are restrained for it

Believe it or not everyone, this poem is about turmoil and the desire for peace. Heaven is peace and if you cant get there peacefully, then go to war (raise hell)

Raping women isn't nice... Interesting poem. You seem to be in touch with your inner devil, that always calls for deep poetry. Humanity is hell, we are all our own Lucifers. raising hell only calls forth your own self to destroy everything... Good luck :D

I enjoyed the power and the sense of rejection in this poem's composition. Finding himself rejected by heaven and despondent on earth the narrator resolves to "raise hell." It is an intriguing concept as well.

This piece is not lost in overly complex metaphor or analogy, it does not have the time to do such things. Fired with an elemental passion, so base and so without redemption it can only respect one thing: honesty. So in its fiery passion and strength it finds an integrity that few pieces of poesy attain.

I also find it interesting because the narrator's statement about raising hell implies that they still recognise what they are doing to be sinful or wrong. Confirmed by the fifth stanza. It is interesting to me because I know so many who perform deeds which society frowns upon yet they do not attempt to defend their acts as righteous but instead do call them sin. Personally I do not believe in right or wrong, morality is absent in the absurd existence of man. There can be integrity but not a set of absolute morals which can lead us to condemn one or laud another act. The narrator of this piece still has a conscience. They have not yet realised that conscience is just a word that the cowardly use to keep the strong in awe; let your courage, your integrity and your will be your conscience.

I shall cease my prattling, I apologise for going on. I am enjoying your pieces of late I feel like you are ceasing to hold things back and have stopped restraining your work. It is for the best. Bravo!

Regards,
A.E.

Oh wow, such a true, true meaning; You have to be perfect for heaven. But for hell? All you need to do is sin.
I adore this so much, that I may just raise f*****g hell.
No I wont do that, but even so, I have bookmarked this poem.
