the mind

The heart gives a hope
The mind warns
He doesn't listen
Follows his heart
Gets shattered along the way
And takes him down with it
The mind picks up the pieces
Piecing them together
Till he's whole again,
But doesn't take long
Follows his heart blindly
Says it will be different this time,
The mind remembers,
It's never been,
When will it ever be?
