Love Myself

This is my first poem. I'm eight years old, and my dad, who writes also, helped a bit to put this together.

Even though I don’t have

Blue eyes, blond hair, or the prettiest smile

I still love myself

 

Even though I’m not your Barbie Doll, and

Even though I’m just not perfect

I still love myself

 

My family can’t give me riches

But what we have is worth more than diamonds

And that’s why I can love myself
