Heartless

Your memory haunts me
Like a childish nightmare
Only to remind me
You were never there.
Never a part of me
Of who i claim to be.

My soul still aches
At the thought of you.
All those missed things.
We never got to do.

I often wonder therefore
Do you ever think of me
Do you ever question
Why we couldnt be?

Have you yet realized
Or will i let you know
You stole my heart,
ran away,didnt let it go.

You never gave it back
And turned this goddess
Into a monster most heartless.
