Chemo

Chemo

A Poem by Kleio13

There`s a chemical
and she is very salty
She only feeds on vegans

Surrender.
All my feelings remain.

I`ll try not to complain
about why Atlas has
denied me.

Even my bed bugs have
scurried.

These fountains of thoughts
achieve no other than drowning
my pillows

There`s a weezer under the bed
and he is silent, but deadly
Woe, to whom finds him sheathed

Some rather subject to his asthmatic carols

Surrender.

Silent revolutions.
Silent orphans fill to the brim

I wouldn`t dare say it isn`t so
Their trumpets are numberless

And mine are too.

One day we`ll no longer surrender anymore.

Vegans won`t have to pretend they loathe the notion of menocide

Victims will become victorious

No more cancer treatment advertisements on the television.

Low and behold being naked and hairless.

My children will be fearless.

Reading this made me confuse. It's hard to grasp the words that you are saying. The first stanzas were a little confusing, but later at the end, I finally get what the poem meant chemo.
This work is very original, and I like that, but it feels like the narrator is talking about power and death. Thanks for letting me read your work!

ok .. being picky i know but:
"Even my bed bugs has " .. ? bed bugs have? ..
"These fountain of thoughts" .. ?these fountains of thought ?..

there is all the prickly cactus of your chutzpah that enamors me to your poetry in this one .. Chemo is such a serious subject .. and it's ill effects as well as good ..
for me the "Orwellian" ending is hopeful .. which i .. the eternal optimist appreciate .. and for me as i clutch every last follicle .. i am so in respect of hairless ..
