into my soul

into my soul

A Poem by knives of sunshine

into my heart you go,
where sapphire and crimson rivers flow.
where long, winding roads
 make paths to travel my
 body.

into my heart you go,
where my soul, like an ocean gushes and falls,
in a never ending,
heart wrenching
cycle.

into my heart you LEAP
with joy,
where cries of delight and happiness
can be heard from the dark depths
of my pain and
misery.

maybe, just maybe,
you can mend
the sore and fetid wounds
oozing hate and anguish.
clot guilt seeping through
the tired and battered
floodgates of my emotions.

howling and screaming,
the nightmares of my heart,
tear at the fragile
over- stretched walls
of my sanity,
causing me to
whimper and sob in fear,
of the monsters
inside my head.

into my heart you go,
where sapphire and crimson rivers flow.

Energy lithe with the sorrow of your haunted heart drives knives of passion through your words, as screams of torture fall around your battered mind you words twist in the fire of your self-depreciation and upon the page form an honest bond of true emotion, dancing through hopes and pain ethereal beauty glows and shimmers beneath the darkened depths of murky waters, and gems so sweet amidst the harrowing agony juxtapose such resenting defeat. Love it.
