Alone

Alone

A Poem by Evaine Andrews
"

this is probably really bad...

"
I sit on the step;
The rain pours down like icy tears on my soft skin.
I am shivering.

I look down;
Water glistens on my bare skin.
Beautiful in the moonlight.

I look up.
The leaves rustle as if scared,
Like me.

The clouds rush by
Running away
Away from the bad place

The place of lies
The place of cheaters
Of desceat, and hunger, and pain.

"Drift away," I whisper.
And I sit on the step.
Alone.

I can really feel the emotion in your writing :o I like it lots though. I can picture your surroundings. If you have any free time, feel free to check some of mine out :)

ME

About
I write because I feel it is a creative outlet for emotion. It will most likely never be a career for me, and I don't promise it's always going to be the best writing, but it will be mine. It will be .. more..
