AloneA Poem by Evaine Andrewsthis is probably really bad...
I sit on the step;
The rain pours down like icy tears on my soft skin. I am shivering. I look down; Water glistens on my bare skin. Beautiful in the moonlight. I look up. The leaves rustle as if scared, Like me. The clouds rush by Running away Away from the bad place The place of lies The place of cheaters Of desceat, and hunger, and pain. "Drift away," I whisper. And I sit on the step. Alone. © 2011 Evaine Andrews
