New Again

New Again

A Poem by Kohleen

The trees, they stand

Tall and winding

The grass, it flows

Soft and shining

Birds do sing

In amber light

Seeing love

And taking flight

Dusk will come

To drink the sun

Stars burst out

And take to run

My sleepy eyes

Do slowely close

Only to find

One more rose

Exceptional piece! but one small detail, Ms. Kohleen. You say the dusk will come to drink the sun, it would have made more sense if you had used swallow instead of drink since the earth descends into the earth, appearing to be swallowed, you see? but still, well done. applause, applause

This piece make me think of fall, winter, and spring which brings forth summer, nice work, love how it comes together.

This is beautiful. So peaceful. I like the flow and your wording is elegantly simple.
