THE CAR TYRE

THE CAR TYRE

A Poem by lovemore

Large or small as it is
For that depends on a few cutting keys
It has trodden upon muddy grounds
It has done many downing rounds
It has been exalted upon ley trees
It has been exacted upon high fees
Its treads have been woven out of bounds
Its wheel has run from and chased a pack of hounds
Its rubber has left stumps upon modern highways
It has potholes on our local motor ways
So give it its respect when you come by it
Or when it goes past your door on a visit.
