The Game of Life

The Game of Life

A Poem by Kolton Sorrell
"

Another sad poem.

"

“You're Lame”, a boy said.

So many people have made me bled.

The knife feels so good, but yet so wrong.

I have to be strong.

Yeah right.

This issue is not worth the fight.

I will always be the lame one.

The bullies have won.

But understand without me they have no purpose.

If i'm gone they have nothing to pick on but a dead carcass.

All because I’m lame?

Life is just a cruel game.

And apparently I lost.

But at what cost?
