Thank You

I hadn’t learned

What my feelings are as I looked at you laughing

I wasn’t able to express it because my feelings were clumsy

I wanted to be your tomorrow so I have been living today

Since the day I first saw you until now

You are the only one in my heart

I finally say

These cliche words

But will you hear these cliche words

Than you, thank you, and thank you is all I say

It’s for the waiting, the longing

And our memories too

Thank you

It’s too cliche that I was worried

I wasn’t sure if you could feel my heart so I couldn’t tell you

I was looking for prettier words rather than thank you

So I ended up not saying thank you

I wasn’t able to express it

Because I didn’t have enough courage

Had I known the word “love” a little earlier

Since the day I first saw you until now

You are the only one in my heart

I finally say

These cliche words

But will you hear these cliche words

Than you, thank you, and thank you is all I say

To you who taught me

What waiting and love are

Thank you

My heart doesn’t change, it never changes

You may erase me but

We don’t change

Because we are imprinted in each other’s hearts

We are imprinted

Thank you

I loved it..As I always say , your poems come right from your heart and that is what makes them so amazing..This was a so sweet poem..And you wrote it so beautifully..Your longing and your true love is reflected through this poem..The way you actually wait , everything you expressed so nicely..

This is sincere, sweet and beautiful. It's like a diary kept by your heart. It's so genuine, the poem takes us through the motions of love and the nerves, the intensity and the pureness of it all. I truly appreciate the way you expressed it, it's not just another sappy love poem, it's got meaning, it contains so much of your personality and soul. Great write.

Lovely read I got here!! The second stanza, extremely proves your longing that how much clumsiness you've been through for being a part of her....just a minor spelling mistake is at the very first thank you twas spelled than you....but tis absolutely ok...defines your lovely curious gratitude!!😊
