Lovely Sister

Waving hands to our days

that are fading away

Just like how falling flower petals greet

I’m smiling with lonely tears

Goodbye my lovely sister, don’t be sad alone

There are flowers that bloom brightly in this world

Your dazzling image passed the tips of my fingers

And suddenly flew away as it smudges with my tears

The happiness that disappeared through my fingers

Turns into memories

Without change

I’m still here

I believe that you’ll be waiting for me, even from far away

Thinking that I will come to get you

Wherever you and I tomorrow are,

cold times will probably pass

Would I be happier dreaming about

us embracing each other?

No matter how much the stars twinkle

Memories of your torture me

When everything in this beautiful world disappears

Will I be able to forget everything?

I saw you just a moment ago. 

But I think of you again 

We’re gonna see each other again later

But I miss you again, I saw you in my dreams

I’m gonna keep seeing you

But I wish you were next to me all day

I spent a day missing you
I spent a year missing you

Even after time passes. I only miss you

You are engraved on my heart
I'm waiting

The person whom I can't help but wait
Even though she said she'd never be back

The sin of loving that person a lot, the sin of loving you a lot

Because of you, and because of sin, I'm sick of waiting

The sin of loving you more, the sin of missing you a lot

That person will be back

You have the ability to really let yourself go in a poem, pouring out every drop, going further in your expressions than most poets do. I honestly cannot think of this much good stuff to say about anybody in my life! I admire the way you are like a fountain of details that you want to pour into a poem. That's so touching poem..You wrote it beautifully..May the soul of your sister rest in peace..I can understand how you must be feeling...You know she will always remain with you wherever she is..I really wish that the culprits get punishment as this is the only way she will get happy wherever she is...That drawing brought just tears in my eyes..Though I never had a sibling but I can understand the pain and agony that you are going through...

The statue of limitations are almost over though. It was my step-father who murdered her, but there wasn't enough proof. They're still investigating the crime.

Impossible to imagine the sense of loss, the overwhelming sadness of losing someone so close, especially under such awful circumstances.

Justice does not always follow on this earth; but ultimately every sin is punished. I have just read your other poem 'missing you.' Your sister was a beautiful child, still is, and even now will be looking down and smiling at the love you have for her.

i like the personification of falling flower pedals and how we relate a sweet sadness over it ... once lovely and whole ..the flower pedals retain a certain vitality ...i think instantly of roses as we have several bushes of them around the house ... i think the V1 and V2 are the strongest ... lots of repetition in the rest ... maybe try to find other ways to say "I miss you" using the tools of our trade ;) the introduction of the third person in my opinion weakens your poem ...its about missing a sister ... for me the introduction of part of a story about a lover kind of seems like an intrusion ... competing for the focus ... perhaps a poem just for that person ;) is that your drawing? it shows the strong bond of brother and sister ... seems like they are alone against the world

To give you hope i would like to quote Gandhi,"There is higher court than courts and that quote is conscience. It supercedes all other courts."
So the person who did it will be punished forever by the voices in his head and that's conscience.
