Is it bad that I don't want to go?

If I don't go I can still picture you sitting by the window watching the day go by

If I don't go I can still believe you're baking cakes for us when we make that seven hour trip to see you

But if I go that perfect fantasy will be shattered as you're laid to rest I'll be forced to accept you're gone... and I didn't get to say goodbye

short but strong. i think a lot of people can relate to not visiting their parents and grandparents enough, including myself.

i like the first line. "is it bad that i don't want to go"?

it's a very honest statement in the form of a question, as if it were a confession of something horrible.

Again, I feel like many people could relate to that feeling of guilt.

Oh, the only thing I noticed as far as a "fix" is the word "except" which should be "accept". Good job.
