The Dreaming Lover

The Dreaming Lover

A Poem by Krosis

When I dream,

She is always there.

I know I need to get back to reality,

But I don't care.

Even though,

I don't have her picture on my wall.

I know,

She will save us all.

This dream is perfect,

But I know it's a lie.

But I don't care,

As long as I feel like this when I die.

I love her,

But if she doesn't love me.

I'll let her go,

And leave her be.

I will give her roses,

For that is her flower.

And I will give her everything,

That's within my power.

If I'm in a fight,

And not slain.

Just the thought of her,

Takes away all the pain.

Just the look of her,

In a full moon night.

With the stars high in the sky,

Makes her eyes look bright.

When I look in a tree,

And see a dove.

My mind will go back,

To the one I love.
