Incentive

A Poem by Kruppz
"

manipulate vs. encourage

"

“Come my daughter

Come to me baby

I give you a push

And you discover

what life should be”

“……..but father,

I can’t see thee”

Stay away from the manipulative, whether you interpret it in others or in your own best intentions. It doesn't work anymore, too many different interpretations as to intent. Nice write!

My interpretation would be of a daughter that is lost in life, not that 'where the hell do I go?' lost, the kind of lost where you kind of feel like just giving up. In those times, sometimes a little shove can get us back on our feet again. When she says the last two lines, I think of it as she's so lost in life that she can no longer see the track of it.
