The colors of the rainbow

They always glow

But in this case

There only dim.

Because of your pace

And all that space

I congratulate you

For your grace.

 

They tend to your wound.

While you look out the window

Towards the moon.

Then you look low.

But let me tell you

Its the achievement

The bravery you committed

Everyone witnessed

You are the rainbow

The glowing rainbow

That served our country

And that's very touching.

 

So I thank you

For everything you do.

Im grateful

But mostly thankful

Because the sky is the limit

And I think your in it.

I wrote this for school. It is going to one of the soldiers that got shot and is currently in the hospital.
