Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
Even In The End

Even In The End

A Poem by Krystle Queen
"

This is about a close friend of mine.

"

They would hold hands and play

They would be each others "Bae"

They would have fun all kinds of ways

They would be under the rays

There was nothing wrong

Except one day

His world changed

And he never lived to see another may.

The curtains closed

She's dying

With little hope of surviving

She's not rising

No where near flying

She's alright

No , I'm lying

She said its not worth trying.

I sit there watching this happen

Im so near but nothing is flappin

She's my best friend

Just imagine

Im a bad assassin

I cant kill the falcon

She knows nothing of adaption

The worlds her distraction.

On the inside she has nothing to hide

But on the outside she doesn't confide

She told me to step aside

I was the divide

She was fried

She went about in a glide

It would never subside

That night she died.

I cried.

Im a fool

I tried to be her stool

I was just a tool

It wasn't very cool

Now I know

I've watched the whole show

She did grow

She went through the rodeo

Now she's with him under the mistletoe

I've learned he's her Romeo

Without him he would have never said hello.

Don't you see

Now their free

Free from this bad world that came to be

Im on one knee

under a tree

Praying you hear me

There's no need to flee

Life is your destiny

And I guarantee

It will be happy!

I love the rhyming lines. It's well written. I see someone dying and a friend helpless to do anything.
A nice tribute to your friend.
You still need to take more care with punctuation. Missing apostrophes again.
