Drip-drip

Drip-drip

A Poem by KuhuNagpal
"

A derived relation between the rich and poor

"
•Drip-drip

Drip-drip
the tears fall.
From the eye to the cheek.
Covering the curve
And to the chin
Then rubbed off by fingers thin.
Why
Why Do they fall anyways?
Why does it happen-
I think.
And think;
It happens as-
Drip-drip
The water falls
From the tap
To the sink
And down below through the pipe
In the rich man's house.
With a pet mink.
Hence the thin man never quenched his thirst.
Hence his thin fingers
Had wiped off the helpless tears
Into which he had burst.
