I Am Sorry

I Am Sorry

A Poem by Patrick kulture
"

This poem is giving a failed relationship another chance to grow and find love. It is also the power of “I am sorry”. This is a life line we should genuinely mean and be committed to.

"
As they get closer to the courtroom for the final stage of their divorce, his heart beat begins to increase in accelerated rate like it was a car race competition

Now in the fast track of life seeing the great heart racing moment we spent together, birthdays, anniversaries, dates, birth of children, they all calling for a lift but I am in a speed race competition just for two, wished I could take a few

But the one I love refuse to enter this expensive fast pace car I bought in the fast track path of life
Wished I had done more maybe a bigger car with four doors
But she just refused to enter

She bows in deep sigh
Remembering those lovely times
We spent in the mail,
Whispers of I am here with you when ever the rainstorms beclouds my ranging thoughts

Now facing the door
Door to a once cherished love
The one I thought would break my vitreous wall

Oh no! someone stop me
This is not me really I think I am drowning
Hello! Can someone hear me

My head in between my hands
As tears venting on my face

A gentle touch on my back as teardrops engulf my eyes
She said these words as I whispered at the same time we both stare at each other’s eyes
I Am Sorry
