Shopping mayhem

Shopping mayhem

A Story by Jlcayz

I started to walk to the shopping center. Little did I known that all hell will break lose. I got through entrance and hoard of shoppers whizzed past me and through me.

Me on the other hand on the ground getting up ready for the longest shopping spree ever. I enter a shop and see the faces of blood hungry hounds looking for the next sale or discount possible.

Where was I well in the thick of it having a tug of war with a mum for a nice pair of jeans, which were on a discount,it went back and forth until I caved in. The taste of defeat was bitter and in no time I was also a blood hungry hound.

After all the waiting in line for eternity ,the arguing with the person on the till for my discount shirt that said it was on sale. Honestly that day the people on the till were like steel statues with a permanent grudge on their face.

At the end of it all i got home half pleased and half pissed. The moral of the story always be ready for a shopping sale.

Great poem, only thing I can suggest is a little formatting; spacing/paragraphs. It will contribute to the overall reader comprehension. Keep up the good work
