traveling galaxies

traveling galaxies

A Poem by L.L Price
"

New take on the old saying: "Better late than never."

"
'& do you? do you remember?' she asked. 'yes, i remember,' he says. ' i remember to the moon & the galaxies & all the nebulas in between & back, i remember.' she has known what it is like to be far away from him; the stars in his eyes became dim pinpricks in the sky & the warmth from his skin no longer penetrated her atmosphere. that year, winter overcame everything & the landscape of her soul became hard & malnourished. she was a barren , lonely planet. because eventually, one day, even the sun will begin to fade. & it will be the end of the world. it will be the end of the world, but still, he remembers. & that is the beginning of everything & everything & nothing.
