Salute to London

Salute to London

A Poem by Luke Rawlings

In the heart of the city,
Where the paper gold lies,
Lives a girl so pretty,
While the moon's echo dies.

Whispers..warm like the embrace of tea,
Laughs..memorable like the touch of He.

Do you believe in that snow covered town?
Autumn's leaves crushed,
Picnic chances crushed.
Yet hope remains alive.

"Lives a girl so pretty,"
Awwwwww, that's so cute, Luke. That is certainly my favorite line in the poem.
