The Pledge

Forever is a long time to wait,

For that bait of success one longs for,

After every obstacle of self doubt,

And infliction of bereavement for others mouths,

You may find it be the time for vows…

 

When ever qualm blackens the mind,

The pledge be one to remember,

Forever is a long time to wait,

When sights lay set about the corner.
