Electric-Defiance

Electric-Defiance

A Poem by LadyCardiac

It was a quick surge

That wrestled through my veins

I was charged as I charged and was later charged

For my obscene sense of creativity.

Call it something

'Anything but

Crazy.

I was climbing

No shortage of Voltage

As your kiss somehow

Short circuited

Every nerve in my being

I was seeing

Fires blazing

Tensions raising

Faces cringing.

I was electrified

Feeling the static electricity

My heart stopped repeatedly

Maybe it was never beating

You felt it too

That rare sense of connection

Lets start a rebellion and cry

Cry unto the heavens with nothing but passion.
