Six Feet Under

Lets end the silence

And shutter the clouds

As thunder belows from beneath the ground.

You give me hell and plead for heavens gates!!

While leaving me not one of GOD's mercies or grace!

Let's speak the truth

For you know it too

Lust floods your heart

And has weakend your mind

You don't want me

You want lost time

You seek revenge

You want what is mine.

You want what is left of a love left behind.

To heal your wounds from a fall we have taken

To push me deeper into the unsettled dirt.

To bury a love that once caused you your greatest loss.

Im sorry but i don't understand what you mean by remem poetry. I too am a patron of spoken word but not every piece I do is stage worthy (just in my opinion of course). I too am guilty of putting myself into my works.

If you build a rhythm it will add to the flow. Remem poetry is a vocal art not just a silently read one. Artists of all art forms put themselves in their work.
