GOD SPEED DEAR SOVEREIGN

King Eron and the rest of the men of Nibia go out to fight for Nibia. King Eron appoints Queen Vashti as Queen Regnant over all of Nibia all though she is four months pregnant.

It came to pass that the neighbors of Nibia waged war on Nibia and all of her neighbors for no good appearent reason.  King Eron was brought up to serve God and Country through his father, King Ramuel the First, who died for his country in the heat of the battle.

 

King Eron went out onto the balcony of his drawing room with Queen Vashti and said, " People, my people, until I return I place you in good hands with your Queen, Queen Vashti who will see to your needs, administer justice where it is needs, and meet the dignatries of foreign countries."

 

"Queen Vashti is Queen Regnant. You must obey her as you would obey on all things as if I was here myself." King Eron said, "My Queen is pregnant so when she reaches her eight month the coutry will be seen under the care of my prime minister and the Queen regnant."

 

"I will return and when I do I know it will be victorious in two ways. One that we defeated our enemies and two that my Queen has been brought to bed safely of a fine healthy prince to succeed me."

 

"All justice is the country will be administered by Queen Vashti and she will hear you with fairness." King Eron said.

 

Queen Vashti leaned over the side of the palace and said, " My dear Eron, God Speed and come back to me."

 

"I shall return my dear Vashti in truimp."King Eron said and the King with all the men in the Kingdom of Nibia rode off to conqueor their enemies.

 

For many months, Queen Vashti did not hear a word from anyone about King Eron and she wondered how he was doing. She was going into her seventh month of confinement and finally a courier brought her a message that The King and his men were doing very well out on the battlefield. Very few lives were lost and soon the war would be over.

 

Queen Vashti thanked the courier and he left and she went into her compartments. She asked her ladies to prepare her a bath with rose water so she could relax.

 

It was apparent that Queen Vashti was very close to her time of delivery and she wanted to be prepared. She had chosen the name Ramuel for their son and Andrea for a daughter.

She knew in her heart that she was carrying a fine healthy son and she could hardy wait to present their son to King Eron.
