 Dawn Edwards is mentioned only briefly in the novel, "The Dead Zone" by Stephen King. This is a fiction on if she would have come up more in the novel, and if her and John became lovers.  © 2012 crystallized illusions

I did use dialogue from both the novel written by Stephen King, and the script for the 1983 film. Apologies to anyone this may have offended(?) I don't take any credit for any of the characters in this, because they were all created by genius that is Stephen King. (Except for the two women at the end).
I just kind of came up with this, kind of out the blue. No copyright is intended for any of the characters, parts of the dialogue/certain situations from the book or 1983 film, or for the basic story of John Smith.
Only the idea of Dawn Edwards and Johnny Smith becoming lovers is my own, as well as this story is. The lyrics used in the beginning, and that are referenced through the story are from A Dustland Fairytale - The Killers
