Crumpled

Crumpled

A Poem by Tricia Pattinson

Crumpled
by Tricia Pattinson

Eyes slide away
Life moves on
Don't touch
Mind or heart

Breathless
The heart races
Contamination everywhere
Don't inhale; don't touch

The child lays crumpled
Death's nail a javelin
Marking limitation
Of the World's compassion

Eyes slide away
Life moves on
Don't touch
Mind or heart

It is a heart making or breaking subject. Thank you for reading!
A very good expression of your feelings about this. Your work always holds a good deal of thought

Appreciate you reading and reviewing all of my work from yesterday.
This was an intruiging piece. Very enigmatic in its makeup. Great job!

Thank you!
An intriguing writing I fels as if life was in front of me and passing by so fast that I was repelled so it suggested no to touch with either mind or heart. But it felt mechanized rather than thought through. An asynchronous poem? Input output sort of thing. Then the harsh reminding of the dangers we face but even then the warning .

An intriguing warning.

Thankyou

And hence the warning... it all makes sense now
