Swept Away

Do You listen
  To my footsteps
     As I walk along my path?

Do You watch me
   From the shadows
     As I race ahead so fast?

When I kneel down
    Are You rushing
      Delivering all the pearls I've cast?

When I seek You
   In every breath
      I find You, always kind You, sweeping up my mess!
