THORNS AND ROSES

THORNS AND ROSES

trying to make sense of life and love

trying to pick out the thorns from the roses

my heart always shattered my spirit always broken

but I get up again always and forever knowing

no matter what the pain no matter what the strife

there is always someone to help me move on in life

be it the word of a friend or the kindness of a stranger

the love of a family member all of that matters

but when it comes to love closeness and desire

I always pick the thorns from the roses
